I love to paint and sculpt. Very few things bring me more joy than to present the world with colors and forms that are dynamic, sometimes humorous and often colorful. I get excited every time I take disimilar colors and begin mixing and applying them to the drawing I have made on the canvas. My goal in painting is to experience line and form and colors interacting fading overlapping reappearing. I am currently focused on painting but still have sculptures in the works, one feeds on the other for me anyway. I have worked with botanically inspired images alot because I enjoy glorifying and animating plants. Organic abstraction is in my DNA and a deep passion of mine. My sculptures are botanical primarily and I try to create vertical landscapes from those plant forms. I am obssesed with the sun and moon and usually look for a way to work them into all my paintings, seeing them as father and mother. My work is changing more rapidly as I come closer to a unified stylistic approach to my subjects.
